Hybrid & Natural Reflective Window Film
Combining ceramic nanoparticles with metalised layers, these films deliver 40–65% solar heat reduction with a subtle, non-mirrored external finish ideal for buildings where aesthetics and performance must both be satisfied.
When You Need Performance Without the Mirror Look
Highly reflective silver films offer the strongest thermal performance, but their mirror-like appearance is not always appropriate, particularly for residential homes, heritage properties, boutique retail, or buildings in areas with aesthetic guidelines. Hybrid and Natural Reflective films bridge the gap: they combine the thermal and UV benefits of metalised film with a lower external reflectivity that maintains a more natural, architectural appearance.
These films use a blend of ceramic nanoparticles and metalised sputter layers to achieve approximately 40–65% total solar energy rejection while keeping the external finish subdued and non intrusive. The range spans VLT levels from 6% (very dark) to 43% (moderately light) to suit different building contexts.
Key Advantages
- 40–65% total solar energy rejection across the range
- Lower external reflectivity than silver films giving a more natural look
- Up to 99% UV protection throughout the range
- Strong glare reduction with up to 85% in darkest option
- Good daytime privacy without a full mirror effect
- Suitable for residential, boutique and heritage applications

Offering around 40–50% heat reduction without high reflectance, they perform well across a wide range of window frame colours including silver, brown, black, and white. However, due to their higher heat absorptance, they are less suited to large glazed installations where thermal stress on the glass may be a concern.
