What Is Paint Protection Film?
Paint Protection Film, commonly known as PPF, is a thick, optically clear polyurethane film bonded to a vehicle’s painted exterior surfaces. It acts as a sacrificial layer that absorbs the daily punishment of stone chips, sand blasting, insect acids, and light scratches, keeping the original paintwork underneath pristine.
Originally developed for military helicopter rotor blades and later adopted by motorsport, PPF technology has evolved into a consumer grade product available for any vehicle from weekend performance cars to daily commuters and heavy duty 4x4s.
Gloss, Matte & Black Finishes
Apex Premium PPF is available in three finishes: Gloss (enhances and deepens colour), Matte (converts gloss paintwork to a satin finish), and Black (adds drama while protecting). This makes PPF both a protective and styling upgrade.
Coverage Areas
PPF can be applied to any painted exterior surface. Common coverage packages include full front (bonnet, bumper, fenders, mirrors), partial wrap, and full body protection. Your authorised fitment centre will recommend the most appropriate coverage based on your vehicle and driving environment.
